Anyone who runs a blog or website knows that a lot of people send out press releases to let people know about something of interest that is going on. Sometimes these press releases are hardly worth a yawn. Other times they are so self-serving as to merit only a very quick click of the “Delete” key. But one jsut landed in my inbox that I think is very good news, and I am happy to repost it here to help spread the word.
Bob Martin, owner of the LiveInThePhilippines.com website is happy to announce that the popular blog has now been upgraded to a “Web Magazine”
and has been relaunched as such. The new site features articles from many ex-pats in the Philippines, and now also includes a Video Blog, a Photo Gallery and a Job Board. In the new Photo Gallery, all users of the site can establish their own photo album where they can share their photos with the rest of the community on the site. The Job Board will list jobs available for ex-pats living in the Philippines, and also an area where ex-pats can list their qualifications for potential employeers seeking ex-pat employees.
The new Web Magazine is a great expansion of the site, and we are very excited to offer this to our community of readers.
For any foreigners considering living or retiring in the Philippines, this site offers excellent advice on dealing with the cultural differences that you will experience in the Philippines.
The Live In the Philippines Web Magazine can be found at http://www.LiveInThePhilippines.com
Right after you click on the “Subscribe” button up in the top right corner and subscribe to PhilFAQS.com, I urge you to vist Bob’s Live in the Philippines Web magazine and sign up there as well. Since I moved to the Philippines Bob has become a good friend to me, helping me learn my way around and providing a lot of encouragement and guidance in my own web efforts … as well as explaining a lot of things about living here that I didn’t know.
He has a number of good authors writing frequently and I believe he’s even taking on more … if you have any Philippine living, traveling, retirement interest at all, in the words of one of my favorite screen heroes, Clint Eastwood, “You’d be well advised” tp go and visit.
Congratulations on the kick-off, Bob and best wishes.
