And yes the scope of the original question(s) are what decied me to write that aprticular little essay. There's an awful lot more to think about thna most people seem to think about. Once they find out about the cost of living they seem to say, "OK, we go". But snap decisons like that are bound to 'bite back' in the future, so it's really better to think things through first ... I find it's always easier to 'fix' what I haven't already 'broken' ;-) Happy New Year to you too, Ellen. I have to go to the import store soon for some old man vitamins and other 'necessities' of life. I have to say that before Christmas when I was there last I neglected to look at the imported vodka and imported Scotch shelevs. I'll be more diligent this trip. If it doesn't work out here, is there something to fall back on? If I retire here and get sick, will there be someone to take care of my needs?
