Hi Richard, thanks for dropping by and for commenting. Actually, I haven’t been writing for Bob for some time now, although he’s still a good friend and his site(s) are probably without question the best and most comprehensive about the Philippines.

Tommy and I are blogging freinds, we’ve never met, mainly becuase I like to know all the expat-oriented bloggers and Tommy is a resurce I can send people with accessibiklity needs to.

actually my wife know his wife. i already have a good idea of the cost as I have been supporting my wife there and I have some prospects for making money there in the works also. Maybe I will blog a little also. I didn’t know that you knew Tommy even though both of you are now on LiP which i read usually 2 or 3 times a week. take care there in paradise

I hope money came out of the slot every time you clicked. If it didn’t, send $500 to me via Western Onion and by tomorrow morning your house will be stuffed with money … and deeds to ocean-front property in Arizona thrown in as a bonus LoL

You know the search thing is really funny at times. I used to subscribe to a service that told me every day what the most common word typed into Google Search was every day. Believe it or not, it wasn’t ‘money’, or ‘sex’ or ‘fame’ or ‘drugs’ ‘make money wihtout trying’ … it was (drum roll ….) ‘Google’

Every day people find their way to www,google.com and then take the time to type into the search box. ‘Google’. (second most common word searched? “Yahoo’. D’oh.

You really, really, really have to ‘pitch’ everything you do on line to the absolute lowest common denominator, that is for sure.

I’m guessing it’s time for a new costs spread sheet, isn’t it Tommy? I should go look yours up and match mine to yoirs, line item by line item. A lot of people search and comment thinking that prices change here up and down every day like a yo-yo. Actually, they don’t change all that much. I have some cost spreadsheets from guys in Cebu more thna 5 years ago that I was looking at just the other day … actually was amazing how few items had changed significantly.

well actually Dave I read your site all the time and have u saved on my browser. I have a drop down of PhilFAQS that tells me all your latest post. I hope to be joining you in the pinas soon and living with my asawa ko in Tagum city Mindinao, but I will have to do a little work on the internet to afford my expenses there. So how about some of that free money. JK
