the Economic recession made a lot of jobless people in my own country. We could only hope that our economy becomes strong again –
And what country would that be, Jenna? Not the Philippines. The Philippines GDP this year has been the second highest in Asia, second only to China. The newspapers have never sold so many column-inches of advertising for jobs … ever look at a manila Sunday paper lately? In my on-line endeavors I have never made more money than this year, and I spend 100% in the Philippines, so good for both of us.
If I may be permitted the observation, the number one overall economy problem in the Philippines is too much ‘hoping’ and not enough ‘doing’. Look at the example in the business the website you listed supports … gaming. In this ‘recession’ year Filipino investors have put together a Filipino Poker Tour which is essentially world class, and I see “name brand” players from the US and Europe coming here to play … and the tour is televised, in prime time. Sorry, doesn’t sound like a recession to me.

Dave; The new look of your site is great. But I’ve ckicked on Recession? What Recession, and it won’t open, I tried search this site and there was no button to click on. Please help, this not so computer savey old guy.
I Dunno, Paul, works in all ways from here. There is nothing to open when you see that post on the front page, it’s just a promo for that Trump seminar … which Donald doesn’t share any profits with me on, but I think people might learn somehting from anyway.
Frankly I donm’t care much for this look but something else is broken and I am not going to be able to do anything on line until Tuesday or Wednesday … this is the ‘former look’ which still works, so people will have to be staisfied with it. I like the pictures at the top and little else, but anything with puctures loses a lot of readers. Takes too long to load and watching the server logs I get lots of people who don’t spend longer than 10 or 15 seconds … that’s about the attention span of the Internet .. so if the page hasn’t fully loaded by then, they are likely gone forever.
