Castle Peak Hotel, Cebu City

Castle Peak Hotel, Cebu, Philippines.

Here’s an interesting, well-recommended destination location I came across recently.  Please note that this particular property is not one that I have stayed at, yet, but several trustworthy friends have.  I thought it was well worth featuring because so many hotels and resorts don’t bother to have a website, especially with complete contact information, so I want to take a little time and highlight those which I have found who have taken the time to smooth the path for a visitorCastle Peak Hotel Vicinity Map

  1. Thanks for the info. It’s nice to see you have indexed all the hotels you have reviewed here in the index on the right. Really too bad someone wouldn’t do this for many cities in Philippines. I have visited many nice resorts on my two visits down there – some have websites – most do not.

This is good info for those traveling to the Philippines and in particular Cebu.

I see folks asking for this type of info on where to stay etc on many of the forums and blogs I read.

I agree with you John, Dave has a great layout making it easy to locate the info you are looking for and covering many areas.

    Cheers,

@John in Austria: Hi John, thanks for your faithful readership and useful comments. I’m glad someone noticed my little page index tool ;-) . One of the most difficult things with running a blog/web site like this is not finding information, but in making the information accessible to those who might want to read it. The litle “Expand/Collapse” pages tool helps a bit.

BTW, open to all, I’ll be happy to write about any hotel or resort you care to mention … good or bad … because John is 100% right, people need to know.

@marshallmellow: Thanks for the kind words, Marshall. I am always on the look out for things which would help preople find what they are looking for. It’s by far the most challenging job in producing a site like this. So much information gets published and then “lost forever” simply because there is no good way to make it “finadable” in the format that makes sense to every reader. We’ll keep working.

I’m considering going into the software business, my first product will be called “Mindreader” and it will automatically present only the pages each reader is interested in … I expect the release date RSN (real Soon Now ) _NOT_ LoL
