@ David ... Holiday greetings and thanks for your comment. Your question is a tall order, and maybe not the best for this blog, I already get feedback that I write too much about business. But I'll certainly give it a shot, becuase I'm not giving up writing about business ... I'm in business and it's fascinating to me from both the money making aspect and the technical side. There's aton of information right here, I post dozens of "make money in the Philippines" suggestions, most of which are not popular becuase thgey aren't about 'jobs' or they aren't about what th e'on-line gurus are doing. But they follow the number one piece of advice I'll give:

Don't worry about 'how information gets on line' or 'websites for dummies' or any of those cart before the horse ideas. To make money, find something people want that is not being provided to them and then see if there's a way you can provide it for a profit".

The Internet is a medium, not a source of money. 99% of the folks who don't make money fail becuase they look for something to sell and then try to make people buy it. Wrong model.

Provide something people want and they will ask to buy, that's the way it works. If you are a purchasing agent ... Lord knows that covers a lot of ground ... whatever your industry, you have thousands and thousands of facts and skills that many others do not have ... what do you know that anyone would pay you for? (Hint, business purchasing opportunities online are still in the dark ages ... connecting a source with a supplier is still hard as the dickens in many segments).

Once you figure out what people want and how you can supply it, then you'll be able to figure out the role of the Internet.

I have recently became a reader of your site because I will become a RP resident next year and I want to get to know as much as possible about the place I intend to be my home.
So as not to go to seed in my early retirement years I would like to hope I can find a small business venture that will interest me.
Your enthusiasm about making a living online is commendable however I am sure that I am not the only reader who has zero knowledge about building a usable website for business purposes.
I am a purchasing manager and rely on the internet for information but have never really thought much about the mechanics of how the information gets there.
So from a standing start how can one get the know-how needed to make a sucess of such a venture.
Your site looks very professional but I am sure you didnt put it together from the"build a website for dummies"book.

                                         best regards
