I&#039;d advise you refer to it directly.  Evry requirement is explained in some detail.  A face to face meeting within the two years preceding the date of the application is, indeed, essential.  There are two &quot;weasel out&quot; clauses, but in the 8 years I&#039;ve been dealing with these petitions, including getting my own, the chance of escaping the meeting provision is slim.  I also write irregularly on this same subject at www.easyk1.com.  You can find a lot of real-world help in this Yahoo Group, I have many freinds there, all getting a K1 or &quot;graduates&quot; of the process.  Good people:
