I did give that advice to foreigners, but to my Filipino freinds as well ... if it&#039;s crap, it&#039;s crap and it ought to be labeled that way, no matter what country it comnes from.  It&#039;s likely Alex, the book authoer would agree as well ... but you know and I know that mainy Filipinos refuse to by Filipno even if the product is good ... part of that in-built inferiority thing many Filipinos carry around with them.  Good point.</description>

		<description>Hi Philly - I fully agree with what you say here.  One thing, though, that I slightly disagree with the book about.  I believe that if the Philippine product is inferior, you should not buy it.  By not buying it, you are sending a message to the Philippine manufacturer that they need to improve their product so it will sell better.  If we all blindly buy the Philippine product there is no incentive to Philippine companies to improve.

However, I fully agree that we should not think that because a product is Philippine made, it is crap.  There are a lot of quality Philippine products, and I believe that we should support them with our wallets.</description>
