Philippiine DEERS/RAPIDS ID CARD SUPPORT

Department of Defense DEERS/RAPIDS ID Card Office located inside US Embassy
Manila at 1201 Roxas Blvd. Ermita, Manila will reopen for two days a month
beginning in October 2009 on a walk-in basis only (i.e. no appointments).

Services will be provided 0800-1600 at Window #3 Social Security Office on
1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. Last Sign In at 1500.   Note that the
U.S. Embassy is closed on all US and Philippine Holidays.

(author’s note … remember that you can not take cell phones inside the US Embassy as well … so plan ahead)

And thanks a lot to SFC Hintz and the other folks at the Embassy who provide great support to us retied military folk here in the Philippines … it wasn’t very many years ago the Embassy not only didn’t provide any service slike this, the message was clear that retied military in the Philippines ought to go home and leave the staff alone … what a difference a caring Ambassador and a staff who goes the extra mile makes.
