		<title>ID Cards Again Available at the US Embassy</title>

<h3>Philippiine DEERS/RAPIDS ID CARD SUPPORT</h3>
<p>Department of Defense DEERS/RAPIDS ID Card Office located inside US Embassy<br />
Manila at 1201 Roxas Blvd. Ermita, Manila will reopen for two days a month<br />
beginning in October 2009 on a walk-in basis only (i.e. no appointments).</p>
<p>Services will be provided 0800-1600 at Window #3 Social Security Office on<br />
1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. Last Sign In at 1500.   Note that the<br />
U.S. Embassy is closed on all US and Philippine Holidays.</p>
<p><em>(author&#8217;s note &#8230; remember that you can not take cell phones inside the US Embassy as well &#8230; so plan ahead)</em></p>
<p>And thanks a lot to SFC Hintz and the other folks at the Embassy who provide great support to us retied military folk here in the Philippines &#8230; it wasn&#8217;t very many years ago the Embassy not only didn&#8217;t provide any service slike this, the message was clear that retied military in the Philippines ought to go home and leave the staff alone &#8230; what a difference a caring Ambassador and a staff who goes the extra mile makes.</p>
